Operator and service

Trouvie is operated by John Preston, entrepreneur individuel (EI), micro-entrepreneur, operator of Trouvie. SIREN 521 010 462; SIRET 521 010 462 00047. 192 Impasse des Gauteries, 61350 Mantilly, France. Contact: contact@trouvie.com. Trouvie is a directory helping visitors find independent service providers registered in France. A customer contacts and contracts with a provider directly; Trouvie is not the provider of the advertised work and takes no commission on jobs.

Eligibility, checks and listings

Providers must hold and maintain any required business registration, qualifications and insurance, supply accurate information including a SIRET, and keep their listing up to date. Listings are subject to review and publication approval. A registration check is not a guarantee of workmanship, insurance or professional suitability. Trouvie may refuse, suspend or remove listings for inaccurate or unlawful information, misuse, or breach of these terms, subject to applicable law.

Membership prices

The first 25 approved eligible businesses receive lifetime-free listings while their membership remains active and eligibility continues. The next 75 approved eligible businesses may receive €2.99/month memberships, with this rate maintained only while that qualifying subscription continues without interruption. Later standard memberships cost €4.99/month. Features and search-ranking rules are the same across tiers. Free and discounted allocations are limited; creating an account does not reserve a place. The amount and frequency are shown again at checkout.

Where the operator remains within the French VAT exemption scheme, no VAT is added: « TVA non applicable, art. L. 223 et s. du CIBS ». Any changed tax treatment must be disclosed before a future charge.

Payments, billing and renewals

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance using Stripe. Each subscription continues until cancelled. The checkout shows the price and collects payment authorisation; invoices and membership information are made available in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Early-supporter pricing is linked to the continuous qualifying subscription and is not transferable.

Cancellation

A paid member may request cancellation through an enabled Stripe Customer Portal link in Trouvie or by emailing contact@trouvie.com. The configured policy is cancellation at the end of the current paid billing period, preventing further renewal while paid access normally continues until that date, unless suspended for a separate justified reason. Statutory rights are not affected. A new membership after cancellation is subject to the then-current eligibility and price.

Payment failure and suspension

Where payment fails, a paid listing may be suspended during recovery. A listing suspended solely because of billing may be restored once payment is verified; separate administrative suspensions do not disappear automatically. Trouvie will not make an unsupported assertion that a failed payment has been recovered.

Disputes and rights

Please contact contact@trouvie.com with billing complaints, refund requests, or objections to decisions. Refunds are reviewed against the transaction, service supplied and mandatory legal rights; cancellation does not itself imply a refund of a period already paid for. Any applicable mandatory withdrawal, mediation and jurisdiction rules take precedence over these terms. No term excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Content

Providers confirm they have the right to publish the supplied information and images. Customers and providers independently agree terms and guarantees for any work; Trouvie does not guarantee a provider's performance.
